Terms of Use

Terms and Conditions for PopStick Effective Date: May 2, 2026

Welcome to PopStick. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the PopStick mobile application (“the App”), developed by Helen Emerson (“Developer,” “we,” “us”).

By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

  1. Description of Service

PopStick is a tool that allows users to select photos stored on their local device for the purpose of printing. The App processes all data locally; no images are uploaded to our servers.

  1. Payments and Refunds

App Store Transactions: PopStick is a paid application. All payments, billing, and transactions are processed by Apple Inc. via the App Store.

Refunds: Because Apple manages the billing, we cannot issue refunds directly. If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, you must request a refund through Apple’s official “Report a Problem” page or your Apple ID purchase history.

  1. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality within the App—including but not limited to the logo, UI design, and code—are the exclusive property of Helen Emerson. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

  1. User Responsibility & Photos

Ownership: You retain all rights to the photos you select within the App.

Local Use: You acknowledge that the App accesses your photo library only with your permission and that you are responsible for the content you choose to print.

Hardware: We are not responsible for the functionality, ink levels, or maintenance of any hardware (printers, AirPrint devices) used in conjunction with the App.

  1. Children and Parental Supervision

PopStick is intended for use by children. In accordance with App Store guidelines for the “Kids” category:

We do not include in-app purchases or third-party advertising.

Any links to external support (such as email) are protected by a Parental Gate to ensure they are accessed only by adults.

We encourage parents to supervise children when using printing hardware.

  1. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Helen Emerson shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from:

Your use or inability to use the App.

Any hardware malfunctions or physical print results.

Any loss of data on your local device.

  1. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Developer resides, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
